San Joaquin Reservoir
Western Paving has recently completed work on the $1,750,000 subcontract awarded to us by Chino Grading. Our scope included repaving a large portion of the bottom of this 100' deep reservoir, repaving the 3:1 slpoes of the reservoir and finally repaving the perimeter roads. The owner is the Irvine Ranch Water District.
Orangeline San Fernando Busway
Western Paving has completed our $7.5 Million subcontract for asphalt paving which included 12 miles of busway, 12 miles of bike trail and 1.1 Million SF of parking lots. Our client was Shimmick-Obayashi. The owner was the MTA of Los Angeles.
FEDEX Ground Los Angeles
Our $738,000 contract included coldplanning, paving fabric, asphalt paving, seal coat and stripping. The facility remained open during all phases of our work. Our client was FEDEX.
Disneyland
Western Paving provided demolition, asphalt paving, storm drain relocation, site concrete, seal coat and stripping. Our contract was $975,000. The work included rebuilding backstage roads, including the parade route. All Disney operations remained open during construction. Our client was Disneyland Resort.
Blue Line (Pasadena to Los Angeles)
Western Paving provided asphalt paving and concrete as a part our $6.2 million dollar subcontract. Our client was Kiewit Pacific Construction. The owner was the MTA of Los Angeles.
Headworks Replacement
J.F. Shea awarded Western Paving a $2.1 Million subcontract to provide asphalt paving throughout the facility. The subcontract provides for multiple mobilizations, with the expected finish in 2007. The owner is the Orange Country Sanitation District.
Multiple Campuses
Turner Construction (Los Angeles Office) is the general contractor and has awarded Western Paving a subcontract for $770,000. The project includes four new campuses. Western Paving is providing asphalt paving at each site, which includes playgrounds and parking lots in the adition to street improvements. The owner is Los Angeleles Unified School District (LAUSD).
Miller Childrens Hospital (Long Beach)
Western Paving is currently working on this $700,000 subcontract awarded by Turner Construction (Los Angeles Office). Western Paving is providing demolition, grading, site concrete and asphalt paving on this multi-phased project. The owner is Miller Children's Hospital.
Sysco L.A. Food Service
Western Paving has recently been awarded a contract for $430,000 by Sysco. Our scope includes demolition, grading and asphalt paving of the existing entrance roadway and truck parking area. The owner is Sysco Foods. |
